"Yes, it is possible that she will come to campaign for Sangma in Tura," NTC General Secretary and spokesman BB Dutta told reporters in Shillong on Wednesday.

Meghalaya would go to polls on April 20 while the elections in West Bengal was slated for May 10. So it was possible for Banerjee to campaign in the north east and for Sangma to canvass in other parts.

But the exact programmes of Banerjee and Sangma are yet to be decided, he said.

Sangma merged his faction of NCP with Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress last week and formed NTC to fight the coming elections under the latter's symbol.
