An earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale on Friday shook large parts of Gujarat's Saurashtra and Kutch regions.

Though the impact was felt widely, there was no report of any damage to property or life.
According to reports, the quake took place at 11.04 am with the epicentre located 64 km north of Bhuj in Kutch.
The tremors brought back memories of the Jan 26, 2001, earthquake, which killed an estimated 25,000 people in the same area.
