An earthquake of low intensity measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale was felt in parts of Odisha on Friday, an official said.

No loss of life or damage to property was reported.

The earthquake occurred at 9.14 a.m. and was felt for a few seconds in industrial town of Angul, about 160 km from Bhubaneswar, and its neighbourhood, SC Sahu, director of Bhubaneswar meteorological centre, told IANS.
The epicentre of the quake was located near Angul.
