The former Haryana Chief Minister told reporters that a number of power generation projects would be completed in the next three years in the state due to the initiative taken by the Congress government.

Road and electricity projects in the pipeline would be completed fast if Congress is voted to power for the third time in a row, he said, describing Digvijay Singh as a dynamic and progressive leader.

He said power problem is being faced in all states and it is not confined to Madhya Pradesh.

He said Madhya Pradesh government has taken a series of steps to strengthen the social sector during the past ten years ensuring decentralisation of power in an effort to empower the poor and backward sections of society.

He claimed that Congress would come to power at the centre after the next Lok Sabha elections and Digvijay Singh should be given a third term to ensure proper coordination between the two governments.
