The Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has invited Railway Minister Lalu Yadav to Pakistan and even offered to organise a rally in his honour in Sindh province.

A visiting MQM delegation met the Minister to ask for early resumption of the Munabao-Khokrapar rail service that was suspended following heavy rains in Rajasthan.

The leader of the delegation, deputy convener of MQM Muhammad Farooq Sattar stated after the meeting that they had offered to organise a rally for him in Aurangi in Sindh which has a sizeable Bihari population.
He also said the Minister had told them that the rail service would resume in February next year.
