"Kamal Nath, Bhuria and Scindia, all treated Madhya Pradesh in a step-motherly way on the issue of development and are not helping the state on the issue," Madhya Pradesh in-charge Anant alleged while addressing the opening session of the two-day long state BJP executive meeting.

This is the first meeting of the newly constituted Madhya Pradesh BJP executive under the leadership of its new President, Prabhat Jha.

The BJP General Secretary criticised the Congress for boycotting the special session of the state Assembly called by the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on the issue of development.

"They do not keep Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi informed about the expectations of the people of Madhya Pradesh," Anant alleged.

He praised Chouhan for calling the special session of the Assembly so that it can be transformed into a golden state.
