The ghastly incident took place in tribal dominated Narayanpatna area of Koraput district on Tuesday.

Mishra Turuk, who operated two jeeps for transportation in the Maoist-infested area, was picked up by the Maoists and his body with throat slits was found by villagers on Wednesday.
