"Reports of NC looking for cabinet berth are absolutely wrong. We have neither raised this question nor has there been any word from me, my party or the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah," he told a private news channel last night.
Abdullah, who was elected from Srinagar Lok Sabha constituency, said NC is an ally of UPA and will work together for a better tomorrow. "We stayed with the UPA and will remain its part," he said.
Referring to his meeting with UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi in Delhi, the NC leader said he met her to convey his greetings for the good work done by her and Rahul Gandhi to steer the UPA to victory.
