The incident occurred in sector eight of Airoli area, they said adding workers of both parties damaged some vehicles parked nearby after heated argument over bogus voting.

Meanwhile, SRP personnel have been deployed in the area to maintain law and order, police said. Airoli is part of Thane Lok Sabha constituency where Shiv Sena's Vijay Chougule and NCP's Sanjeev Naik are in fray.
