THE ONLINE counselling of selected candidates in Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre-Medical Test will start here at BRD Medical College from July 11 and will continue till July 15.
Principal of the college Dr OP Singh said that counselling of all groups would be conducted on the basis of ranks.
According to sources, the applicants had to buy Rs 5000 security draft in the name of the director general, Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh while Rs 300 would be charged as counselling fee. The candidate would have to bring their certificates, admit cards and four-attested photograph with them.
The principal said the applicants should report at the college auditorium where they would be provided a file and verification form. After verification of their mark-sheets and other documents, the applicants would be allowed to participate in computer counselling where they would choose the option of their college. The next day the centre would be allotted to the candidates.
Dr Singh said that Dr SP Saxena had been nominated as incharge of the counselling centre while Dr BB Lal Gupta along with others would assist them.
Meanwhile, counselling for Uttar Pradesh Engineering Services started here at Madan Mohan Malviya Engineering College.
On the first day of the counseling, the new-comers were engaged in discussion with the old students to take feedback regarding the academic atmosphere of the college. Around hundred students participated in the counseling for B Tech and B Tech Agriculture. The counselling would continue till July 23.
