Later in the day, Pandher complained of chest pains and was admitted to the intensive cardio care unit of Civil Hospital in Gandhinagar.

Moninder and Surender have been at the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) in Gandhinagar since Friday morning. They were given polygraph and brain-mapping tests first on Saturday evening after detailed psychological profiling, medical tests and physical fitness examinations.

FSL director Dr JM Vyas told reporters on Sunday afternoon that the polygraph and brain-mapping tests would continue for most of Sunday. He added that the narco-analysis testing may be carried out on Monday, depending on when the polygraph and brain-mapping tests get over, and what results they show.

Meanwhile in Noida, District Magistrate Ajay Chauhan and SSP RKS Rathore on Sunday met RWAs and representatives of various NGOs at the DM’s office at sector 27 to seek their help in defusing the tension at Nithari and checking anti-social elements.
