The youth-labour cell of the People's Democratic Party here on Friday appealed to the residents of Jammu to vote for the party's candidate from Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha constituency, Yash Paul Sharma, in the 2014 parliamentary elections.

Addressing a meeting here, Salman Bhatti, the PDP cell's district president, described Sharma as a mature and righteous politician who always stood up for the people.
He added that it was only during the PDP's rule that guns on the border were silent.
