As the world stands by for the birth of Royal Baby #2, a breastfeeding crusader and an ice cream maker are hoping to titillate taste buds with a new breast milk-flavored dessert.
Pitched as the "ultimate organic ice cream," Royal Baby Gaga, produced by London-based ice creamery The Licktators, is being re-launched to coincide with the most anticipated birth this spring.
The ice cream is made with donated breast milk, which producers say is screened in line with hospital standards, and blended with Madagascan vanilla.
It's the second time campaigner Victoria Hiley, 30, has used everyone's favorite frozen treat to promote the health benefits of breast milk and try and destigmatize the act of breastfeeding in public.
In 2011, Hiley and ice cream wizard Matt O'Connor courted controversy with the Royal Baby Gaga's debut, not only from members of the public who filed complaints to local council, but also from Lady Gaga herself, who took offense at the name.
