Ruchika's family lawyer denies allegation made by Rathore
The lawyer for the Ruchika Girhotra family on Friday denied the allegation made by former Haryana DGP SPS Rathore that the girl's father Subhash Chander Girhotra was married to a woman named Veena.

Replying to newsmen's queries following argument of Rathore's counsel and wife Abha in a local court that Girhotra had a second marriage with Veena who also signed as such on inquest papers following Ruchika's death, counsel Pankaj Bhardwaj said anybody can make the claim that she was Girhotra's wife.
"There is no evidence. You tell her (Abha) to place things on record," he said outside the court, adding that "Rathore manipulated things at every step."
On the service record of Anand Parkash and Girhotra questioned by Abha, Bhardwaj said, "Rathore used to use his influence there also."
He said Abha had no evidence in support of Rathore and was making false claims.
