The school authorities asked the children not to eat the food and later informed the officials.

By the time, ten out of 87 students who had been served the meal started vomiting, Maiher Sub-Divisional Magistrate Vinay Kumar Jain told PTI.

"The children were discharged from government hospital last night and as a follow-up a check-up was conducted today and they are fine," Jain said.

The administration has scrapped the contract of Self Help Group Sabri that had been assigned to serve food under the mid-day meal scheme in the school, SDM said.
