Every year a large number of Shiv Sainiks make an abortive attempt to perform Jalabhishek at Goddess Sringar Gauri at the Gyanwapi Complex but the district and police administration foil their attempt by arresting them in mass.

Talking to mediapersons here on Saturday, Divisional President of Sena, Ajay Chaubey said that a large number of Shiv Sainiks of Eastern UP, including Varanasi, Ghazipur, Chaudauli and Jaunpur etc., would perform Jalabhishek on both the deities on Monday. He said that they would give a befitting reply to the district administration if the administration tried to stop Shiv Sainiks from performing Jalabhishek.

District chief of Sena Gulshan Kapoor and city chief Shiv Seth said that this year the Shiv Sainiks are hell-bent to perform obeisance at both the deities and would give court arrest if the administration stopped them from doing so.
