Sensex reaches new high at 10,195.42 pts

The sensitive index after touching new peak of 10,195.42 points fell back partially to rule at 10,113,05 points.

The benchmark Sensex set yet another high at 10,195.42 points in early trading on the Bombay Stock Exchange on Thursday as foreign funds remained the key players.

The sensitive index after touching new peak of 10,195.42 points fell back partially to rule at 10,113,05 points at 10.15 am against last closing of 10,113.18.

Similarly, the Nifty index on the National Stock Exchange rose to record high of 3036.65 points from 3022.30.

The major gainers were Dr Reddy Lab, Ranbaxy Lab, ACC, ITC, Hindustan Lever, Hero Honda, Satyam Computer, Infosys Technologies, Tata Motors, Larsen Toubro and Grasim Industries.
