Union Energy Minister Sushilkumar Shinde will review the Accelerated Power Development and Reform Project (APDRP) and take stock of the Centrally-funded schemes in Uttar Pradesh during a visit to Lucknow on Wednesday.

Besides other engagements, Shinde would preside over a meeting of senior state Power Corporation officers to take stock of the Central schemes, including the rural electrification project, a spokesman of UP Congress told newspersons in Lucknow on Tuesday.
The Minister will mainly review the progress of work under the Rajiv Gandhi Village Electrification Programme and APDRP. The issue of availability of electricity to UP from the Central sector powerhouses was also likely to be discussed at the meeting, he said.
Shinde would also visit Rae Bareli and Sultanpur before flying back to Delhi.
