Shivraj Patil holds emergency meeting

Home Minister Shivraj Patil on Thursday held an emergency meeting with Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Dekhmukh in Mumbai to review the situation arising out of the terror strikes in the country's financial capital.

Home Minister Shivraj Patil on Thursday held an emergency meeting with Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Dekhmukh in Mumbai to review the situation arising out of the terror strikes in the country's financial capital.

Others who attended the hour-long meeting include Governor S C Jamir and Deputy Chief Minister R R Patil, sources said, adding top governments officials were also present.

Patil had rushed to Mumbai early on Thursday morning following the terror attacks that left about 100 dead and over 300 injured.
