Six CRPF personnel injured in grenade attack

At least six CRPF personnel were injured when suspected militants lobbed a grenade on a hotel in Dalgate area of the city.

At least six CRPF personnel were injured when suspected militants lobbed a grenade on a hotel in Dalgate area of the city.

The grenade was hurled by the militants on hotel Kahkeshan at Dalgate, a famous tourist hub, injuring the six CRPF personnel, who were inside the building.

CRPF spokesman Prabhakar Tripathi told PTI that the injured soldiers were admitted to a nearby hospital where their condition is said to be out of danger.

However, no militant organisation has claimed responsibility for the attack.
