The government ambulance was carrying Kiran, her ailing newborn and eight others from Matanhel village to a hospital in Rohtak, when the accident occurred last night on the Jahajgarh-Beri road, police said on Sunday.

The ambulance turned turtle after the collision and three persons died on the spot while seven others received serious injuries, police said.
