Who needs expensive facials and massages? Here are easy ways to spruce yourself up at home.

Exfoliate
Make a rich body scrub with almond oil, aroma oil, crystal sugar. Use this mixture as an exfoliator for your body. It will help remove dead cells, nourish your skin, lighten pigmentation and leave your skin soft and supple.

Relaxing spa bath
Fill your bath tub with warm water and add a few drops of aroma oils or rose petals in it. Light some aroma candles, play your favourite music and soak yourself into the bathtub. You will come out of it relaxed and rejuvenated.

Fruitilicious scrub
Make your own fruity body scrub with fresh fruits such as pineapple, honeydew melon, grapes, banana and kiwi. Puree all of them to a slightly lumpy consistency. Smear all over the body and leave on for 15 minutes.

Rinse off under the shower. This body scrub would help in removing dead cells, protecting the body from the harmful UV rays while keeping the skin smooth and hydrated. It also soothes sensitive skin.

Skin polishing bath
Take an egg, some olive oil, glycerin, dried milk powder, a couple of drops of essential oil like jasmine or rose and lavender. Except the essential oil, beat the rest of the ingredients with a hand mixer. Now, add the essential oils and continue mixing till it forms a smooth paste.

Add this to luke warm water, soak your body for 20-25 minutes. It will leave your skin feeling as soft as silk.

DIY home facial
Cleanse you face with buttermilk. Then scrub with oats soaked in milk for five mins.
Mix a non-oily face massage cream with tomato juice, cucumber juice and yogurt and then gently massage your face with this in upward strokes.
After massaging your face, apply a nice face pack with multani mitti, sandal wood powder, aroma oil and rose oil.

Nourishing face pack
Peel the cucumber and make a smooth paste in a food processor. Mix dry yeast, and oats along with honey and yogurt into it.
Let it chill. Apply on your entire face and leave on for 10 minutes and then wash off. This pack nourishes your skin, tones pores, and helps remove fine lines.
