The Socialist Unity Centre of India (SUCI) (Communist) on Friday condemned a decision of Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda to chargesheet IAS officer Ashok Khemka in the Vadra-DLF land deal.
Demanding judicial inquiry by a sitting judge of the Supreme Court, SUCI representative Satyawan said in a release that Hooda had ordered the inquiry to be in the good books of the Congress supremo. He said the SUCI would honour Khemka for his fair and bold step to uphold the law and penalise those who favoured corporate houses and builders to usurp land.
Satyawan alleged that in nine years of Hooda's tenure, he had allowed change of land use (CLU) to benefit the people with vested interests. The SUCI would organise a demonstration on October 8 here to protest against the CLU scam, he added.
