"With the introduction of premium features in Indigo and Indigo Marina, we expect the sales of these cars would jump by 15 to 20 per cent," Tata Motors Assistant General Manager (North) Deepankar Tiwari told reporters in Ludhiana after launching the new range of Indigo and Indigo Marina.

Tata Motors, which holds 33 per cent market share in C-segment cars, currently sells 4000 units per month in the country.

The largest automobile company of the country finds metro cities as potential market for its C-segment versions. "We find NCR, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai and Punjab as potential markets for us," said Tiwari.

Tata Motors launched Indigo in December 2002 and Indigo Marina in September 2004. Till date, the company has sold over 1,25,000 Tata Indigo and Indigo Marinas on the Indian roads.
