What kind of action can the HSIIDC initiate?
We have the option of imposing fine on the concessionaire and that is what we are going to do. We had served a notice to the concessionaire and the firm has submitted its replies.

Has the inordinate delay caused any damage to the HSIIDC?
This is a mega-project conceived years ago to boost commercial activities through roadways between north and south India. The delay is definitely creating a big nuisance.

In view of the delay, is the HSIIDC going to put more restrictions on the concessionaire?
Penalty is of course part of the restrictions. But beyond that, stricter action needs to be taken so as to assure no further delay takes place. We are still mulling over the action. It is not to be disclosed.
