TRM Shop Council opened

Speaking on this occasion, Tripathi expressed his satisfaction with the achievements of the TCB division and also cautioned department officials about future challenges. Tripathi said competition from China, which has cheap labour in addition to new technology and higher productivity, was one of the major challenges.

He further emphasised the importance of learning new roles for management and unions, which have common purpose of taking the organisation to new heights.

Prasad said though targets were tough, they could be achieved by working together as a team. In his keynote address, Talwar touched upon the changing role of shop councils in today’s environment and the importance being given by management to Shop Councils.

“We have manufactured more than what we have done at this point of time during previous years, a lot of work is yet to be completed in the remaining part of current fiscal,” said Talwar.
