Vijayvargiya to inaugurate Ayurveda fair on Feb 3

Addressing the media, Forest Conservator Rajesh Shrivastava said that aim of this Mela is to promote Ayurvedic system of medicine and to appraise the masses of the usefulness of herbal and medicinal plants.

Shrivastava added that 50 Ayurvedic Vaidhyas have been invited for this Mela and 23 have given their consent. This is the second time that Van Mela is going to be organised at Indore.

Out of the 100 stalls, 70 have already been reserved. Free medical advisory camps will also be installed in this Mela in which Vaidhya and Hakim would give medical advise to masses. Besides this tribal folk dance and cultural programmes would also be organised during the Mela.

The function would be presided over by Minister of State for Forest, Prakash Sonkar. Van Mela will conclude on February 5 at 8 pm in which former minister Rajendra Dharkar will be present as chief guest. Preparations of the Van Mela are complete.
