Why are Modi, Jaitley afraid of probe into DDCA row? Kejriwal asks

Referring to the CBI raid on Delhi Secretariat on December 15, Kejriwal said: “We (AAP) cooperated with your raid, you also cooperate with the enquiry commission (set up by our government),” Kejriwal tweeted.

“We did not fear your raid, why are you afraid of the enquiry commission?”

Kejriwal said many TV channels were claiming the commission of enquiry he had ordered was “illegal”. He asked: “Was the CBI raid legal?”.

Jaitley has sued Kejriwal and other leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party for linking him with the alleged corruption in the DDCA. The BJP has suspended its MP Kirti Aza

Meanwhile, reports said that LT Governor Najeeb Jung as termed Kejriwal-appointed commission of inquiry to probe the alleged DDCA scam in which Finance Minister Arun Jaitley as illegally invalid.

Reports say that Jung has reportedly told the Home Ministry that the Commission of Inquiry Act, 1952 only allows Centre and state governments to appoint a commission of inquiry. With Delhi being a Union Territory, the AAP government can order an enquiry with the concurrence of the Centre, through the LG.
