A 30-year-old youth allegedly committed suicide on Wednesday by consuming poison in Arvi police station premises in neighbourijng Wardha district, police sources said.
According to them, Ashish Somkuwar was arrested for allegedly ferrying liquor in the prohibited district.

He left behind a suicide note on Tuesday night mentioning names of two policemen, including a sub-inspector (PSI) for allegedly demanding bribe.
He was rushed to a hospital but could not be saved, sources said.
