  Gwyneth Paltrow says that if she ever sells her lifestyle and wellness company, Goop, she may disappear from public life completely. Everything we know about Goop (Vagina-scented candles, venom serums), we’ve learnt against our will. Paltrow also hates the term Nepo Baby (Her dad was a director, mum’s an actor, godpa is Steven Spielberg). So honestly, we gain more than we lose if she vanishes.

  How do Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie stay relevant after 35 seasons? A killer collab, of course! They’re paying tribute to Death Note on the next Treehouse of Horror Halloween special. Banal meets macabre. D’oh!

  Opening up borders.

  The Bombay High Court has dismissed the petition seeking an absolute ban on Pakistani artists in India. Welcome back, Mahira Khan, Fawad Khan , Ali Zafar, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif Aslam. And hello, new talent -- musicians, artists, actors -- we haven’t discovered yet. Yay for cross-border interaction.

  Daler Mehndi performs at the 14th edition of the NH7 Weekender in Pune in December. He’s was sentenced in 2018 for illegally sending people abroad as a part of his dance troupes in 2003 and was granted bail in 2022. Do we want bhangra pop 20 years later? Oh ho hoho. Of course!

  Kaala Paani on Netflix offers all the zombie thrills we missed after Go Goa Gone. It follows the race to treat a contagious disease in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.There’s science. History repeats itself. But it also focusses on how tribal communities are mistreated. Monsters with a message. Nice!
