Alia Bhatt becomes Gucci's first Indian Global Ambassador

On Thursday, Gucci announced Alia Bhatt as their Global Ambassador. The actor, producer and entrepreneur will make her first public appearance as the luxury fashion house's face at the upcoming Gucci Cruise 2024 runway show in Seoul. It will take place at the city's Gyeongbokgung Palace. The show will mark the fashion house's 25 years in the country. The news excited her fans, who took to social media to congratulate her.

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt recently made headlines with her debut at this year's Met Gala. Alia turned muse for designer Prabal Gurung, who dressed her according to the theme 'In Honour of Karl'. Karl Lagerfeld had designed Claudia Schiffer's dress. According to Prabal, Alia's Met Gala outfit was hand-embroidered in India on silk tulle and made at Atelier Prabal Gurung in New York.
