Days after the Election Commission announced the schedule for the Lok Sabha elections 2019, ticket aspirants in Uttar Pradesh are waiting with bated breath for the party candidate lists to be announced.

Doctors, traders and exporters are among those lining up for Bharatiya Janata party ticket in Aligarh Lok Sabha constituency. It is believed that names of the candidates will be announced by March 19.
Recently a list of BJP candidates from Uttar Pradesh was doing the rounds on social media, Though the authenticity of the list was not confirmed, the list did give some tense moments to the aspirants.

With the announcement of the poll schedule, Aligarh Member of Parliament Satish Gautam left for Delhi for discussions. The list will be announced after deliberations by the BJP’s Parliamentary Board.
Amid talk that the BJP may change several candidates for Lok Sabha elections 2019, the list of aspirants has grown longer though Gautam is seen as a strong contender. Hopefuls include entrepreneurs, doctors, politicians and exporters
The general elections will be held across India in seven phases beginning April 11 and the counting of votes will take place on May 23.
The mModel code of conduct for parties and candidates kicked in immediately with the announcement of the poll schedule and will remain in place till the last phase of the election on May 19.
