Lok Sabha elections 2019: In Gurugram, flying squads to resolve poll code violation complaints in 100 minutes

Serious complaints, however, would be referred to the national grievances redressal portal, the state election commission said on Friday.

To make this happen, training sessions on how to use cVigil application was imparted to members of the flying squads of the four assembly constituencies in Gurugram district. A workshop on using the cVigil application was conducted by Mohd Imran Raza, additional deputy commissioner, Gururgam, who apprised officials from Gurugram, Badshahpur, Pataudi and Sohna on how to use it. The Gurugram Lok Sabha comprises nine assembly constituencies and has over 20 lakh voters.

The mobile app can be downloaded from Play store on Android. It has also been made available for iPhones, the state election commission said Friday.

“There should be no laxity in resolving the issues raised on this application and the officials concerned must learn to use it properly,” he said.
