To woo Dalits and other backward classes in Uttar Pradesh ahead of the 2012 Assembly polls, ruling BSP will hold a state-level conference for the communities here on November 27.

To woo Dalits and other backward classes in Uttar Pradesh ahead of the 2012 Assembly polls, ruling BSP will hold a state-level conference for the communities here on November 27.

The convention will be addressed by chief minister and BSP supremo Mayawati in which office bearers and party workers from all over the state would participate.

Mayawati, who succeeded in catapulting herself to power in the state through her social engineering formula, wants to consolidate the Dalit and backward vote bank of BSP by giving them a message in the convention.
