Pune woman kills self as she thought she was unable to take care of her infant daughter

Her body was found in a well and the cops found a suicide note with it.

A 23-year-old software engineer committed suicide on Sunday as she thought she was unable to take care of her infant daughter.

Priti Suraj Landge, 23, who got married two years ago, had come to live with her parents in November last year to deliver her baby and had been living with them since in Fursungi. Her husband also lived in Pune.

Priti was uneasy as she felt that she was unable to take care of her daughter. She left from home on Sunday saying she was going out to shop for a few things. When she did not return till late night, her parents approached the police.

Her body was found in a well and the cops found a suicide note with it that said the reason she was killing herself was that she was unable to take care of her daughter.

Priti had completed her education in computer engineering and was working as a software engineer in a private company.
