The University of Mumbai missed its second deadline to declare results on Saturday.
MU was to release all resuilts on August 5, after missing the original July 31 deadline set by state Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao.
By the end of Saturday, results for only 265 of the 477 exams were declared.
This means more than 55% of the MU results are still pending.
With two deadlines gone, no official new deadline has been set by the university to announce the remaining results. “The biggest task MU faces currently is clearing the assessment of papers from the commerce faculty,” said one official. “More than two lakh answer booklets still await evaluation in this one faculty alone,” the official said.
“Not a single result in the law faculty has been announced till date either,” said the principal of a suburban law college.
