MIUMBAI: The state excise department has launched a helpline number to enable citizens to register their complaints on WhatsApp against the illicit liquor trade.

MIUMBAI: The state excise department has launched a helpline number to enable citizens to register their complaints on WhatsApp against the illicit liquor trade. Citizens can register their complaints on 8422001133, said V Radha, the excise commissioner. “Complainants can provide us detailed information on illegal brewers, transportation of illegal liquor from neighbouring states as well as those who sell liquor without licences. This will make it easier for us to catch the culprits,” he said.
