MUMBAI: Mumbai Metro ridership reached 20 crore on Monday, 786 days after it began operating in June 2014. Officials said the metro carried an average of 3.4 lakh commuters every weekday this year, which means 18% in ridership in last one year. It had crossed 10 crore mark in less than 400 days.
