Nine persons, arrested for the September 2006 blasts in Malegaon, applied for bail in a special Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime (MCOCA) court on Saturday.

The accused contended that the National Investigation Agency has concluded brain mapping and polygraph tests conducted on them. One of the lawyers, Khalid Azmi, said that nothing incriminating had come out in the tests. The MCOCA court will hear the applications on October 31.
