More security for Anna's village

A day after a slipper was thrown at Arvind Kejriwal, core team member of the India Against Corruption (IAC) group in Lucknow; the Maharashtra home department has enhanced the security given to anti-corruption activist Anna Hazare at his village Ralegan Siddhi. HT reports.

A day after a slipper was thrown at Arvind Kejriwal, core team member of the India Against Corruption (IAC) group in Lucknow; the Maharashtra home department has enhanced the security given to anti-corruption activist Anna Hazare at his village Ralegan Siddhi.

Hazare is currently on a maun vrat or a vow of silence in his village.

The Union home ministry reportedly said on Wednesday that it has received inputs from local agencies on a possible threat to social activist Anna Hazare's life, according to media reports.
