Teen sexually assaulted by 36-yr-old woman: Cops recover suicide note written by depressed boy

The police believe the note could be used as evidence in the case, and may prove the boy was depressed, after being forced into a physical relationship with the woman, who is his friend’s mother. “In the suicide note that has been recovered, the boy says if anything goes wrong, the woman should be held responsible,” said Dilip Yadav, senior inspector, RCF police station.

The woman was arrested on Thursday. The police are now in the process of collecting more evidence in the case, and have obtained two photos of a spot in Vashi, where the complainant allegedly forced the boy to ‘marry’ her. “We have found photographs of the forceful marriage and the two of them sitting on a two-wheeler,” said Yadav.

According to the complaint, the boy was sexually assaulted for more than two months by the woman. The police said she touched him inappropriately when he went to their home in Vashi Naka, and subsequently forced him into a physical relationship. Noticing a change in his behaviour, his family members convinced him to tell them what had happened.

The woman has been booked under sections 341 (punishment for wrongful restraint), 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) along with stringent sections 4 (penetrative sexual assault), 8 (sexual assault) and 12 (sexual harassment) of the Protection of Children against Sexual Offences Act, 2012.
