Singer Taylor Swift who celebrated her 26th birthday on Sunday (December 13) tweeted to announce about her concert film. To be directed by Jonas Akerlund, the film will release on December 20.

“Thank you so much for all the birthday wishes. I have a little surprise for you.#1989WorldTourLIVE @applemusic (sic),” Swift, who celebrated her birthday on December 13, tweeted. The 1989 World Tour LIVE was filmed in front of 76,000 fans at the ANZ Stadium in Sydney, Australia on November 28, 2015.
Swift also included a clip of the film in which she explained her dreams for the tour.

“Getting ready for this, I wondered about a lot of things. I wondered what it would be like to perform for 70,000 people. I wondered what it would look like if they were all lit up and just dancing around like no one was watching them,” she said.

Referring to her many celebrity guests on the tour, she said: “I wondered what would happen if I invited the most amazing artists in the world to come out with me and perform with me on my stage. Would they do it?”
