Weekender music festival tickets announced

Second edition of Pune’s annual music festival reveals ticket prices and extended lineup, will also feature a tattoo convention.

Last December, Mumbai residents witnessed their first full-fledged three-day music festival, which was held over the weekend in Pune. Officially christened Bacardi NH7 Weekender, the event featured eight stages and 50 bands from India such as Zero and Midival Punditz, along with a few international acts.

This year’s edition, scheduled to take place from November 18-20, will see 150 bands and artistes across the festival and pre-parties at Laxmi Lawns, Pune. The six stages including Dewarists, Eristoff Wolves Den and Bacardi Black Rock Arena, will feature bands like UK’s Bassment Jaxx and Imogen Heap, and Indian acts like Jalebee Cartel, Raghu Dixit, Swarathma and Menwhopause.

The organisers recently announced tickets for the three-day event. Passes cost Rs 2,000 for the entire duration, Rs 1,500 for two days and Rs 750 per day. For festival-goers, there are also exciting discounts up for grabs. Those who purchased their tickets for last year’s event from

A tattoo convention will also take place alongside the event on November 19-20. According to the organisers that include celebrity tattoo artist Sameer Patange of InkMyDink, there will be over 45 booths by international artists and some of the best names in the Indian tattoo industry too.
