BHOPAL/GWALIOR: The three-year-old boy, who had fallen into a 28-feet borewell in Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior district, was on Saturday afternoon pulled out but declared dead at a hospital. Abhi Pachori had slipped and fallen into a borewell in his father’s field in Kheri-Gaon village of Dabra block while playing on Friday evening. The rescue team that rushed to the spot was worried about the lack of movement and the presence of several-foot-long snakes around him, as seen with a video camera. This is the third such incident in the state in the past year, which raises doubts over the government’s ability to stop such accidents.
