NEW DELHI: Chief economic advisor Arvind Subramanian’s Twitter account was hacked on Monday and “offensive” tweets were sent out from it. “My twitter account was hacked. My profuse apologies for the nuisance and offensive tweets that were sent out as a result,” Subramanian tweeted. His twitter handle, which has 43,000 followers, was hacked followed by tweets leading to adult sites, which were later deleted after the account was restored.
