GADCHIROLI: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan was on Sunday injured in a face-off with Maoists in the district, police said. A joint anti-Maoist operation was being conducted by the CRPF and the district police in Reknar forest area when the ultras opened fire and the forces retaliated. During the skirmish, one CRPF jawan sustained injuries. The Maoists later fled from the forest, it said. The injured was admitted to the General Hospital here and his condition is said to be stable.
