Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard took to Instagram on Saturday to confirm that he is now a proud father of a baby boy and stated that his family is ‘now complete’.

Gerrard, 36, and his wife Alex already have three daughters and had announced late last year that they were expecting their fourth child. Revealing to his followers about the news, Gerrard wrote: “Lio George Gerrard was born this morning at 4.55am . Both are doing great . Our family is complete”.
Back in October, Alex had uploaded an adorable snap with her daughters looking at an ultrascan picture with the message: “Congratulations to the Gerrard family on baby number 4”.
This has been a wonderful week for the former midfielder who was also confirmed as Liverpool’s U-18 manager for next season replacing Neil Critchley who has been promoted to take charge of the U-23 squad.

Moments before Lio’s birth, Alex had uploaded a picture on her Instagram account as well with Steven and three of their children —Lilly-Ella (13), Lexie (10) and Lourdes (five) — with a caption that read: “soon to be 6”.
