Hollywood actor Salma Hayek recently hosted the Kering Foundation’s second annual Caring for Women Dinner in New York. In attendance was Natasha Poonawalla, philanthropist and entrepreneur, and the wife of Adar Poonawalla, the CEO of Serum Institute of India. Natasha, who often parties with actors Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and others, shared a series of photos from the event on Instagram.
Natasha Poonawalla shared some solo photos of herself as well as some inside pictures from the event. She wrote in her Instagram caption, “The Fashion of Caring never goes out of style! Thank you Salma Hayek for a fun, thoughtful, inspiring evening taking a stand against domestic violence. Lovely seeing so many power houses standing in solidarity against atrocities and inequalities tolerated in different strata of society across the globe.”
Natasha Poonawalla also shared a picture with Malala Yousafzai, Pakistani education activist, from the gala, writing, “Domestic abuse can be mental, physical, economic or sexual in nature... this is not a war of the sexes but instead a conflict of values. Always lovely catching up with the beautiful Malala. A heart wrenching speech by Oprah Winfrey... a room full of caring thought leaders nd the most fun after party for which I came prepared with breakfast!”
