Eid al-Adha: Devotees reach Jama Masjid to offer namaz
Muslims across the world are observing the annual festival of Eid al-Adha or Eid-ul-Adha, the 'Festival of Sacrifice.' Devotees were seen offering namaz in Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India, in the wee hours of Wednesday amid stringent coronavirus disease (Covid-19) protocols.

The festival, also known as Greater Eid or Eid Qurban or Qurban Bayarami, is celebrated on the 10th day of the Islamic month of Zul Hijjah, the 12th month of the Islamic or lunar calendar.
