India kickstarted the vaccination drive for children aged 15 to 18 against the coronavirus from Monday. The registration process began on January 1 this year. On December 25, 2021, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had given his nod to vaccinate children in this age group during his address to the nation. He also mentioned that the precautionary third dose for the healthcare workers, frontline workers, and citizens above 60 years with severe health conditions will commence from January 10, 2022.(AFP)
